APD is proud to announce that, during May 2018, we have achieved re-certification of our 3-tiered Management Systems (SAI Global).
This includes certification the latest standards, that is:
- 2015 ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems
- 2015 ISO14001 for Environmental Management Systems
- 2001 AS4801 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems Standard.
This achievement re-affirms APD’s commitment to providing the highest quality electrical engineering design and consultancy services to fulfil our customers’ demands whilst ensuring safety for our people and minimising the impact upon our environment. It also represents our dedication to continuously improving our management systems.
Certification of the quality and environmental management systems to the new standards in particular, entailed significant changes from the previous 2008 standards. Among other things, the new standards place an increased emphasis on organisational context, leadership requirements, risk based and life-cycle thinking, and achieving desired process results to improve customer satisfaction and achieving optimal environmental performance.
