APD is proud to announce the successful registration of our Generator Performance Standard (GPS) with AEMO, for an Alumina Refinery plant, within Western Power’s SWIS network, showcasing the depth and expertise of our Power Systems team.
Despite substantial challenges posed by the plant (over 50 years old), our team conducted meticulous site tests and simulations, to create a validated PowerFactory model, assisting in evaluating 131 WEM clauses for compliance.
This collaborative effort with Western Power and AEMO sets the stage for upcoming GPSs on additional sites that APD’s Power System’s team is assisting with and reaffirms our commitment to excellence and GSD (Getting Stuff Done) in power system engineering.
