SCOPE:
APD Engineering was engaged by Enerven to produce the design for ElectraNet’s Unit Asset Replacement project at five of their substations.
TECHNICAL SITUATION
ElectraNet initiated a Unit Asset Replacement (UAR) for the regulatory period 2018-2023 involving substation asset replacement, namely; circuit breakers, isolators, surge arrestors, voltage transformers, current transformers, and protection relays.
APD Engineering was engaged by Enerven to produce the design for the UAR project at five substations namely; Blanche, Mt Gambier, Mayurra, Penola West and South East.
SERVICES PROVIDED
- Design for Civil, Structural, Primary & Secondary systems works associated with the assets replaced at each substation;
- Developing Energisation Sequence Plan along with the required Temporary Protection Request to return the replaced assets back in service.
