APD is delighted to announce the appointment of Rodney Reuben as Technical Principal – Power Systems, leading our transmission planning and system studies teams on the East Coast. Rodney is a Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience in the power industry both in Australia and abroad.
Rodney has led the development of major network infrastructure projects in Queensland, generating savings of more than $100 million-dollars in capital investment through the creation of innovative network solutions. He is an expert power transmission system analyst and technical project leader in the areas of transmission planning, renewable energy connection assessment, transmission investment optimisation and strategic studies for the electric power industry. He has managed grid connection pre-feasibility studies for more than 4000MW of renewable energy connection enquiries across Queensland.
The changing generation mix together with the increase in disruptive technologies is driving a transformation in the energy sector. APD assists clients meet these increasingly complex challenges by offering a specialist end-to-end power system engineering service to the industry.
