APD’s Power System Studies team provided First Quantum Minerals (FQM) with end-to-end services from detailed site survey (data collection), through to computer modelling and system analyses. With an accurate and up-to-date computer model of the mine network, FQM can investigate various contingency events and also plan for the most cost-effective network utilization for future extension projects. APD also assisted the client with on-going training and support with the modelling and analysis.
