CANTERBURY ROAD BRAESIDE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE
APD has been engaged to provide full electrical engineering, project management and as built detailing for the Canterbury Road Braeside industrial Estate.
OPERATION CENTRE AEO CERTIFICATION FOR EARTHING SYSTEM
APD were engaged by Sydney Trains construction contractor, an Accredited Engineering Organisation with earthing expertise, to provide assurance services for the earthing installation of the new Railway Operation Centre.
RATE 3 LIGHTING FOR IPSWICH CITY COUNCIL AT ROSEWOOD
APD were engaged to provide Lighting Design within the Rosewood subdivision. Ipswich City Council specified all street lighting to be LED type & fully controllable, and for the lights to be owned & maintained by them. The Council employed the Energex Rate 3 tariff which uses the AS3000 rules & Energex specifications.

COMPUTER MODELLING & POWER SYSTEM STUDIES FOR FQM NICKEL MINE
APD’s Power System Studies team provided First Quantum Minerals (FQM) with end-to-end services from detailed site survey (data collection), to computer modelling and system analyses. With a model of the mine network, FQM can investigate various contingency events & plan for the most cost-effective network utilization.
CERTIFICATION OF NBN CO ASSETS POWER SUPPLY
APD was engaged by nbn Co. to perform an independent technical review and certification of the nbn power supply installation design drawings in accordance with relevant Standards, Regulations, and Guidelines for acceptance by Western Power. The design drawing precedes the typical power supply installation arrangement for nbn Fibre to the Node/Compact Sealed DSLAM roll-out in Western Australia.
SOUTHTOWN SUBSTATION DESIGN
Development of the electrical, SCADA and communications design for the a new 66/11kV Substation.
RIO TINTO WICKHAM ACCOMMODATION EXPANSION
APD Engineering were contracted by PLP to engineer and design three new 1.5MVA and one 1MVA 11/0.433kV kiosk substations, powerline modifications and power and fibre optic cable reticulation for the Rio Tinto Wickham Accommodation Expansion.
